Refund Policy
This policy explains how deposits, revisions, the warranty and refunds work when you commission a website from me. It is written to be read alongside the quote I send you, which states the exact price and scope for your project.
1. Free preview — no obligation
Before you pay anything, I build a working preview of your website using your own photos and details. There is no charge for this and no obligation to continue. If you decide not to proceed, you owe nothing.
2. Deposit and balance

3. Cancelling before work starts
If you change your mind before I begin work on your site, tell me and I will refund your deposit in full. Once work has begun, the deposit covers the time already spent and is not refundable.
4. Revisions
Your project includes two rounds of revisions — changes to text, photos, colours or layout after you have seen the first version. These are included in the price. Further rounds, or a change of direction after the design is agreed, are quoted separately before any work is done.
5. Warranty
Your website carries a three-month warranty from the date it goes live. During this period I will fix, at no charge, any fault in the site: pages that fail to load, broken links, display problems, or errors in the content I entered.
The warranty does not cover:
- New content or new features you request after delivery.
- Changes made by you or a third party to the site's files or hosting.
- Failures of third-party services outside my control, such as your domain registrar or a booking platform.
6. After the warranty
After three months, updates and new work are charged by the hour, quoted and agreed before I start. Small text or photo changes usually take under an hour.
7. Domain names
- The first year's domain registration is included in your website fee.
- From the second year, renewal (currently around £5 per year) is payable by you. I will remind you 30 days before it is due.
- The domain is registered with you as the registrant. If you want to move it to your own registrar, ask me and I will provide the transfer code at no charge.
Domain registration fees paid to a registrar are not refundable, as registrars do not refund them to me.
8. If something goes wrong
If you are unhappy with the website, contact me first — h2365711@gmail.com — and I will work with you to put it right. If I cannot resolve a genuine fault within a reasonable time, I will refund the balance you paid for the affected work.
